Types of nestedness

Metacommunities of 20 sites and 20 species that demonstrate A) regular (i.e., even) loss of species at one end of the gradient (hyperdispersed species loss), B) random loss of species at one of the gradient, and C) clumped species loss at one end of the gradient. Gray cells represent species presences, Morisita's index and associated P-values are given to demonstrate the ability of the method to distinguish among types of nestedness.
